The reason I said "almost" is due to the unused space you're paying for, since you have to buy one of their plans (5TB, 10TB, etc) as opposed to B2's "pay for what you store". So Gdrive seems almost strictly better, since you get better speed and features, and no download fees. So now that they have, here's my comparison of Gdrive and B2: I guess I never took their "unlimited" offer seriously, and was waiting for them to figure out something more permanent. I also never knew that it had a solid featureset and speed. In the process, I realized that prices for Google Drive (from which I was on the way out) have changed for the better. I'm doing some data cleanups, and trying to consolidate from a few different storage providers, to mostly B2 (for infinitely growing storage and streaming), Backblaze (for continuous backup), and iCloud (for sync).
